Mike Gregory is the founder of Michael Gregory Consulting, LLC and headed up business valuation nationally for 11 of his 28 years at the IRS. During his tenure with the IRS, Mike championed the IRS internal teams on reasonable compensation, valuing subchapter S corporations, 409A, 6695A, and Discount for Lack of Marketability. 

Mike has written twelve books including, Business Valuations and the IRS: Five Books in One (852 pages 38 examples and over 180 practical pointers). 

Mike has served on the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers, and the Standards Board of the National Association of Certified Valuers and Analysts (NACVA). He chaired the chair of the Ethics and Oversight Board of NACVA and serves on the Minnesota State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Board. He has served on over a dozen boards during his career.

Mike has a BS from Valparaiso University, a MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA from DePaul University.
