Franz spent over 20 years in commercial banking before becoming a business appraiser and real estate appraiser in 2002. Franz has been a frequent contributor to Business Valuation Update and has also written articles for The Appraisal Journal, the leading real estate appraisal journal. Franz has centered his valuation work on the valuation of real estate with a significant business component, such as restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, C-stores, power plants, and many other complex property types.
