Anthony Aaron

Tony Aaron is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California. He has spent over 35 years in financial analysis. The majority of his career took place at Ernst & Young LLP, where he specialized in the valuation of businesses, securities, intangible assets and intellectual property. He also spent time earlier in his career as a securities analyst at a registered investment advisory firm.

Tony has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Appraisal Foundation, he has served on the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers, and he has participated in groups for both the AICPA and the Appraisal Foundation, developing best practices for valuations performed for financial reporting purposes. He is also currently serving as Chair of the Performance Requirements Work Stream of the Fair Value quality initiative, a consortium of Firms, Professional Organizations and Individuals who are working together to improve quality and consistency in the Valuation Profession.

Tony received his undergraduate degree from the Marshall School of Business at USC, focusing on corporate finance and real estate. He received his MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, focusing on corporate finance, management science and computers and information systems.
