Angie Smith is a Senior Director at Ankura Consulting Group, and is based in Dallas, TX. With a focus on the healthcare provider sector, she performed business valuation appraisals on numerous types of entities, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, and imaging centers. In addition, Ms. Smith performed provider compensation valuations involving numerous types or arrangements, including physician clinical services, compensated call coverage, hospital-based physician coverage, medical directorship compensation, clinical co-management, and other professional services arrangements. The majority of the engagements which she led were performed for pre-transaction due diligence purposes, however many others were performed for financial reporting purposes.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Ms. Smith worked for over four years for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Master Limited Partnership Tax and Management Consulting practices. In her various roles with PwC, she managed client service projects producing K–1 tax packages for master limited partnerships, was a member of technology development teams on projects which enhanced internal process efficiency, and implemented customer relationship management software packages custom built for insurance provider clients.

Ms. Smith earned an MBA with a focus in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her undergraduate degrees from Trinity University include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing in Finance and International Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in French. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, as well as the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
