Mr. Dupke is the owner of Dupke Consulting based in Sun City West, Arizona. Prior to founding this firm in August of 2012, Mr. Dupke was a Senior Consultant in the Valuation and Forensic Services Division of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in the Phoenix office and prior to that was a partner and Practice Director for Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services for Rehmann, a Michigan CPA firm listed in the top 100 CPA Firms in the nation. During his 35+ years of professional experience he has participated in a wide variety of business consulting projects, specializing in business appraisal, litigation support and merger and acquisition activity. The appraisals have been done for such purposes as buy-sell agreements, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, computation of built-in gain for S Corp. elections and for negotiation property settlements in legal actions.

The businesses he has appraised have varied in size and have involved multiple industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retailing, health care and service industries. Mr. Dupke has served as an expert witness in various state and Federal court jurisdictions. He has served as an instructor in Business Valuation for the American Institute of CPAs, the American Society of Appraisers, the Michigan Association of CPA's, the Tax Section of the Michigan Bar Association, the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), the Arizona Bar Association as well as many other state societies of CPAs.

Mr. Dupke is a past chair of the AICPA Joint Trial Board and a past member of AICPA National Accreditation Commission. He is a past Chair of the Board of the Michigan Association of CPAs and a past member of the AICPA and MACPA Boards of Directors. He has served the MACPA and AICPA in many other committee capacities including a term as chair of the AICPA Business Valuation Committee and chair of the task force that authored the AICPA Business Valuation Standards.

Ed is a member of the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame and is a member of the panel of experts of Jim Hitchner's newsletter “Business Valuation and Litigation Expert”. He has served as a technical reviewer of a number of technical publications including the Fourth Edition of Gary Trugman's book Understanding Business Valuation and he is a co-author of each of the editions to date of Financial Valuation, Applications and Models edited by Jim Hitchner. Over the years, Ed has received many honors including the distinguished service award from the MACPA, AICPA's BV Volunteer of the Year for his work on the AICPA's Business Valuation Standards, the Distinguished Achievement Award from the MACPA and was named one of the “Top 100” most influential CPAs in the nation by Accounting Today magazine. In 2011 he received the Sustained Contribution Award from the AICPA.
