W. James (Jim) Lloyd is a principal in the healthcare consulting practice of PYA, P.C., a national accounting and consulting firm that specializes in the healthcare industry. Jim has extensive experience with valuing a broad range of healthcare entities and arrangements for purposes such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliation transactions, and hospital-physician alignment arrangements. Significant industry experience includes ambulatory surgery centers, assisted living/long-term care facilities, cancer centers, dialysis facilities, hospice companies, home health providers, hospitals and health systems, managed care organizations, nursing homes, pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and physician practices among others. Mr. Lloyd received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and is a certified public accountant (CPA). He also holds several specialized credentials including the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers.

Mr. Lloyd has held multiple valuation industry leadership roles with organizations such as the American Institute of CPA's and American Society of Appraisers. He has also published multiple articles on various valuation topics and is a frequent speaker at healthcare conferences and other venues across the U.S.
