William H. Frazier has over 40 years of experience in the field of valuation and investment banking. The majority of his professional experience within the past 20 years has been in the context of valuing family-owned businesses and holding entities such as family-limited partnerships.

Mr. Frazier has participated as an appraiser in numerous U.S. Tax Court cases including Steinberg (2014) and Grieve (2020). He was written numerous articles of business valuation for estate and gift tax purposes. He is the developer of the Non-Marketable Investment Company Evaluation (“NICE”) Method and the Market Derived Blockage Discount Model.

Mr. Frazier has been a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) since 1987 and has served on various boards and committees of the ASA, including the Government Relations Committee (chair), Business Valuation Committee (treasurer and secretary), Standards Sub-committee of Business Valuations Committee, and Education Foundation. He currently serves on the Standards Sub-committee. From 2009-2011, Mr. Frazier was a member of the IRS Advisory Council (“IRSAC”).
