Katherine provides business valuation and related consulting services for healthcare clients and a variety of business organizations. Her expertise includes valuation for healthcare organizations. In her more than two decades' experience, she has performed numerous appraisals of businesses and intangible assets for mergers, acquisitions, financial reporting, estate and gift tax, ad valorem tax, and litigation matters. In addition, she is a published author, having contributed to the Wiley Finance Series Financial Valuation Applications and Models (Fourth Edition), and co-authored the 2017 Discount for Lack of Marketability Guide and Toolkit. She was also a co-instructor for two sessions of the AICPA Business Valuation School Webinar series: Valuation of Intangible Assets: Fair Value for Financial Reporting Case Study and Valuation of Special Classes of Stock. And, she presented the Annual New Year BV Update webinar, “The NEW Concepts, Data, Models and Methods from 2014 That You Need to Know and Understand” for Valuation Products and Services. Katherine received her Bachelor of Science in Textiles Science and Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (business valuation discipline) with the American Society of Appraisers. She was the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers from 2017-2018.
