Randy is President of Loveman-Curtiss, Inc., a nationally known business appraisal firm founded in 1986. Appraisals are independent, objective opinions of value for taxes, transactions, litigation, and accounting.

Randy is the only holder of the Master Certified Business Appraiser (MCBA) designation from The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), of which he is a Life Member, and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designations in both Business Valuation and Appraisal Review and Management from the American Society of Appraisers. He is a member of IBA's College of Fellows, its Mid-Atlantic Regional Governor, Marketing Committee chair and a member of its Qualifications Review Committee. He develops and teaches valuation courses, writes and lectures extensively on appraising and publishes a national monthly newsletter. He chairs the American Business Appraisers National Network, a consortium of independently owned business appraisal firms.

Randy has valued thousands of businesses in a wide spectrum of manufacturing, distribution, retail, service, investment, and financial industries. His clients have ranged from major public companies to startups and private owner-managed firms. He has defended his work against IRS audits, provided expert court testimony, and, as an accredited panelist of the American Arbitration Association, served as an arbitrator and mediator. Randy also advises clients on merger, acquisition, and financing transactions. He is a director of a private business.

Randy is a Cleveland native. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton and a Harvard MBA (both conferred with honors). His prior work experience includes twelve years in commercial banking and corporate financial management with The Boston Company, AmeriTrust Company, Progressive Corp. and The Standard Oil Co. before he founded Loveman-Curtiss, Inc.
