As a valuation consultant and expert, Mr. Oliver has conducted and supervised a wide variety of client engagements, including private and, to a lesser extent, public company security analyses and valuations for various purposes, including transfers of interests, estate and gift tax filings, recapitalizations, sale/merger, corporate and shareholder planning, stock purchase/option agreements and Employee Stock Ownership Plans. The appraisals prepared by Mr. Oliver have been used by his clients to:

• Purchase and sell minority ownership interests;
• Purchase and sell companies and divisions of companies;
• Establish stock ownership and option plans;
• Negotiate shareholder buyouts;

Mr. Oliver has testified as an expert witness in business valuation in various court proceedings.He has also defended his work before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also a published author and frequent speaker on valuation and related topics.
