Martin Greene, CPA/ABV, ASA has over 30 years of experience in the accounting industry, with professional expertise in business valuation and litigation support services. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Martin is licensed in good standing by New York State, is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV, offered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA). The ASA offered by the American Society of Appraisers, is a multi-disciplined organization with accreditation in other appraisal areas such as real estate, machinery & equipment, and personal property. It is the oldest of the business accreditation organizations and considered the elite appraisal designation requiring extensive testing and peer review of appraisal reports.

Martin is an appointed member of the International Board of Examiners of the American Society of Appraisers where his responsibilities include the grading of prospective designees’ appraisal reports. Grading reports is an educational process that includes instructing and teaching candidates on proper valuation theory and report writing.

Prior to founding Greene Valuation, Martin served as a partner in two area CPA firms and as the director of business valuation at a large regional New York area CPA firm.
