David Foster is the chair of Business Valuation Resources, the leading data, training, and research provider for the global business valuation profession. He acquired BVR in 2005 from Shannon Pratt. He is also the chair of Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), the largest collective licensing organization in the world. He has served on the boards and/or executive committees of 14 information industry companies, is a current board member of several business valuation organizations and has served as a trustee for Bates College, Renewd.net, and other nonprofits.
