Greg’s focus is representation of sellers and buyers of middle market private companies with enterprise value of $5 million to $100 million. Greg manages a team approach to the business sale process in which he coordinates activities with accountants, attorneys, financial planners and wealth managers for the principals. The broker must be the champion of the process defining activities, facilitating communications, solving problems and expediting activities by the various professionals working for the principals. Greg is a non-attorney fee arbitrator and an associate member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association.
Greg is a member of the M&A Source, a professional association for merger and acquisition professionals and has the Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary credential. Greg also has the Certified Merger & Acquisition Professional credential from Kennesaw State University. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and holds its Certified Business Intermediary credential. He has been a member of the California Association of Business Brokers since shortly after it’s founding, and has served three terms on the Board of Directors and over fourteen years on the Legal & Forms Committee. He has been a speaker at annual CABB Education Conferences and Conference Chairman.
Greg’s career experiences prior to mergers & acquisitions includes positions as national sales manager, European sales manager, product marketing manager, materials manager and project manager in electronic instrument products. Greg holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, a BA in business management from the University of LaVerne, and an AA in real estate from DeAnza College.
Married for 29 years, Greg has three adult children (two attorneys and a doctor!!!) and six grandchildren. He is a fitness enthusiast and works out six days a week including swimming, cycling 3,000 miles a year, strength training, ballroom dancing and lots of healthy eating.
