Mr. Tu's primary areas of concentration are in business enterprise and intangible asset valuations in connection with mergers and acquisitions, goodwill and long-lived asset impairments, and stock-based compensation.
Mr. Tu has performed valuations for clients in the internet software and services, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, media and entertainment, real estate, and other industries in connection with ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718, and IRC 409a.
Mr. Tu has experience with the valuation of intangible assets including technology, customer relationships, distributor relationships, backlog, trademarks and trade names, non-competition agreements, deferred revenue, contingent considerations, and other intellectual property assets.
