Brad Koranda is a Director in the Forensic and Valuation Services Group with RSM US LLP’s Central Region Financial Advisory Services consulting practice. Mr. Koranda has been working in the valuation profession for more than 10 years and has worked with numerous public and private clients on financial reporting, estate and gift tax, transaction advisory and strategic planning. He has significant experience with SEC registrants and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) providing advisory and valuation services to publicly traded companies as well as responding to inquiries from the SEC and PCAOB as part of the Audit/Assurance teams on the public accounting side.
Additionally, he has provided expert testimony and damage calculations related to complex commercial litigation, intellectual property infringement litigation, lost profits, commercial damages, insurance coverage disputes, business disputes, and valuation disputes. He has also investigated numerous employee embezzlement cases working for both the individual companies and various insurance providers to the clients.
He has provided strategic advisory, tax compliance and financial services to companies in the professional services, business services, real estate, investment management, manufacturing, consumer, distribution, technology, life sciences, medical device, health care and financial services sectors.
Brad has also provided temporary controllership/CFO services, financial modeling, attest services, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance services. Prior to joining RSM US LLP, Mr. Koranda served as a financial statement auditor with Grant Thornton LLP, leading both domestic and international engagements.
