Lori specializes in practice operational improvement, strategic planning, physician-buy-in and buy-out assistance, accounts receivable analysis and improvement, financial control audits, and human resource management. Prior to joining GatesMoore, Lori was responsible for the fiscal and operational management of ten hospital-owned primary care and specialty practices that included internal medicine, OB/GYN, infectious diseases, and oncology. Her consulting experience includes general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, ear, nose and throat, and rheumatology.

She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Medical Manager (CAA) and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Lori is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Society of Human Resource Managers, and she is a frequent speaker for Kids Health First and Georgia Pediatric Practice Managers Association.

Lori earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama and a Master of Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
