Carl S. Woodward is Partner with Woodward & Associates, Inc., a specialty firm located in Bloomington, IL, which serves automobile dealers in all accounting and financial matters. Prior to founding Woodward & Associates, Inc. in 1998 Carl was a partner in two other CPA firms servicing a large number of new vehicle dealers, as well as Controller for Dealer Management, Inc. and Controller-CFO for a three automobile dealerships.

As a Partner with Woodward & Associates, Inc. Carl has consulted with automobile dealers in such areas as: profitability and management, valuations and appraisals, income tax and estate planning issues, accounting analysis, operations, and dealership transactions. He has also lectured extensively on these matters, and is a qualified expert witness in both federal and state courts on issues of valuation, dealership financial and franchise matters, compensation, employee hiring, and tax issues.

A co-author of the Automobile Accounting Manual for the AICPA, Carl is the sole author of PowerSteering, a national publication with subscribers spanning the nation, including automobile dealers and financial institutions.
