After spending several years as a consultant with two of the former “big 8” firms, John realized that bigger was not necessarily better, and that creative problem-solving sometimes conflicted with the rigid policies and procedures mandated by those firms. As a result, John co-founded and is the managing partner of Marcus, Hastings & Associates, a New Orleans based litigation and valuation consulting firm that primarily serves the Southeastern region of the United States. He has broad experience in the legal arena, having provided litigation support services in the areas of business valuation and economic loss analysis for more than 25 years.John became the third CVA nationwide to earn the Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA) designation. Additionally, he has authored or co-authored several training courses in the areas of business valuation and litigation services and has taught those courses nationwide for several years for the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
