Andrew S. Fargason is the managing director of the Atlanta Financial Valuation Group of American Appraisal.

Mr. Fargason has completed business enterprise and capital stock valuations for merger and acquisition, financial reporting, estate planning, and gifting purposes. He has extensive experience providing valuation opinions for a variety of intangible assets and derivative securities for U.S. and international GAAP reporting purposes.

Specific industries Mr. Fargason has served include health care, telecommunications, and banking. For the past ten years, he has focused primarily on the public company merger and acquisition arena where he has provided assistance to public U.S., European, and Asian clients primarily for financial statement reporting purposes. This work encompasses business and subsidiary values and all intangible asset types, including customer-based assets, complete and in-process technology, contractual agreements, patents, trademarks, and software. Mr. Fargason has also given deposition and testimony concerning the valuation of industrial and software businesses.
