Lee Errickson is Executive Director in the Advisory Services practice in New York, Lee has extensive experience in finance, investment banking, and accounting, with a focus in the last fourteen years on investigations, valuation, litigation support and expert witness services.
Lee's practice comprises forensic accounting and internal investigation, commodities and derivatives, securities litigation, regulatory issues, business valuation, securities valuation, intellectual property, wrongful death and personal injury, economic damages for a variety of industry and contractual disputes, risk management, trading position analysis, analysis of company operations and financial reporting, and educational seminars.
He has led investigations in a wide array of industry sectors, and has considerable experience interviewing subjects. Lee has served as an expert in more than 300 hearings and trials, including securities litigation, intellectual property, insurance claims, wrongful death, and complex commercial litigation. He has worked on several regulatory matters, and has testified before the SFA, the CFTC, and the Senate Finance subcommittee.
Lee is an expert in complex valuations, including derivatives, securities with option features, inactively-traded securities, private enterprises, federal investments, and private investments in public entities. He assists the U.S. Treasury Department with the valuation of certain investments and loan commitments made under the recent bailout. Lee also serves as a neutral arbitrator for post-closing purchase price disputes.
