Susan is an original founder and member of the Board of Directors of Square 1 Bank. Since opening in 2005, Susan has served in a variety of functions. Today, she is the Bank's Chief Credit Officer. Prior to founding Square 1, Susan was President of the Technology & Life Science Division of Comerica Bank. She joined Comerica after the bank acquired Imperial Bank, where she was CCO / COO of the Emerging Growth Division. Susan was part of the management team that grew the Emerging Growth Division to over $3 billion in deposits and 19 offices nationwide. Susan also spent five years at Silicon Valley Bank before her tenure at Imperial Bank.
