Drew Dorweiler has over 28 years of experience in the valuation of hundreds of privately and publicly-held companies around the world, in a wide variety of industries, on behalf of creditors, equity sponsors, shareholders and other parties. He is also recognized as one of North America's pre-eminent valuators of professional sports franchises and properties. Drew's sports valuation repertoire includes National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, English Premier League, Canadian Football League and semi-professional teams, stadiums and arenas, broadcast rights and naming rights.

Drew has testified as an expert witness in more than 15 cases before the Quebec Superior Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, U.S. District Court, The Tax Court of Canada and arbitration panels in high-profile, complex financial litigation and valuation matters. He has also enjoyed giving numerous interviews featured in North American television, radio and print media such as Forbes and The New York Times. Drew has spoken at myriad conferences and seminars and authored various chapters and articles in professional publications on business valuation, litigation support and fraud-related topics during the past 14 years.

Drew specializes in business and securities valuation, financial litigation, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, and fraud detection and prevention. He has rendered valuation-related professional services internationally for such purposes as going-private transactions, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, damages for lost profits, taxation, matrimonial litigation, fair value measurement, valuation for financial reporting, corporate restructuring, valuation of intangible assets and intellectual property, shareholder disputes, misappropriation of funds, insurance claims and minority shareholder appraisal rights. As an advisor to small and medium-sized enterprises, Drew has worked closely with entrepreneurs in their search for financing and/or purchasers, preparation of business plans, financial and strategic planning, due diligence, operational reorganization and financial control reviews. Drew is bilingual (English and French) and a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.

Drew holds a dual Master of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Lubin Graduate School of Business, Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from Dartmouth College. He is Vice President of the Eastern Canada Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the Canadian Representative to the Public Relations Committee of the American Society of Appraisers, listed on the National Roster of Neutrals (Commercial Panel) of the American Arbitration Association, past member of Board of Directors and a member of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CBV), past president and a member of the Montréal Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (licensed in Illinois) (CPA), the CFA Institute, the Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. (CBA) and Mensa.

Drew is also a radio DJ ( DJ Armitage Shanks) on the Drastic Plastic Show on CKUT 90.3 FM in Montréal. He is also a co-founder of Bguzz Management Inc., a financial and business management firm with several internationally renown music industry clientele. He is the Chief Financial Officer of the Libertarian Party of Canada.
