Bradford MacLane, MAI, AI-GRS, ASA-RP/GC, is president of MacLane and Co. Inc., which he founded in 2009. The firm provides valuation services for a wide variety of high-end estate homes, office, retail, industrial, and agricultural properties (row crops, orchards, and ranches) as well as USPAP-conforming appraisal reviews. The diversity of assignments the firm accepts often involves working with appraisers from the machinery and equipment, personal property, and business valuation disciplines, as well as vineyard managers, civil and structural engineers, arborists, foresters, general contractors, and cost estimators. Brad graduated from the University of California—Berkeley Haas School of Business and has worked for CBRE and the appraisal departments of Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America. While at Bank of America, he led a specialty unit for the valuation of troubled and underperforming assets. Brad is a State of California Certified General Appraiser. He has been accepted as an expert witness in several county superior courts located in Northern California, JAMS, and the Eastern California District Federal Bankruptcy court. He is the past president of the Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Brad is currently the education chair for the chapter. He previously served on the board of directors of the Northern California Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Brad served as a member of the City of Benicia Planning Commission and is a past chair of the Economic Development Committee.
