Melissa Deighan currently resides in Jacksonville, FL and holds a Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of North Florida and a Master’s of Science in Forensic and Fraud Detection from the West Virginia University. She is a Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) and is a candidate for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field, having moved her way up from an accounting clerk position to Senior Staff Accountant to her current role as Manager at Shilts CPA, PLLC. She has a passion for solving puzzles and finding inaccuracies in information which makes forensic accounting and valuations the perfect fit for her. Melissa enjoys volunteering and is a current board member of the Jacksonville Women’s Lawyers Association (JWLA).
