Joseph (Joey) T. French, CPA is the co-founder, President & CFO of Intrinio, a company that provides access to a wealth of financial data through an API platform, including many SDKs to major programming languages, an Excel Add-In and a Google Sheets add-on. Joey is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida. He has earned both a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Joey has his technical roots as a data engineer, with advanced knowledge of XBRL, APIs, and data architecture.

French has gained meaningful experience with organizations in a variety of areas, specifically in securities analysis, business valuation, debt valuation, mergers & acquisitions, auditing, corporate finance, and financial reporting. Prior to Intrinio, French was an Associate Consultant in the Financial Advisory Services practice at RSM (formerly McGladrey). In addition, he worked at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board in the domestic fixed income group, covering the technology, media, telecom and utility industries. He is a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
