Thomas Zambito is a Senior Manager in BDO Consulting's Valuation Services practice in the firm's Seattle office. Having more than 10 years of valuation experience, Mr. Zambito has completed valuation assignments for a range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and startups, providing valuation opinions for financial and tax reporting purposes across numerous industry sectors, including technology, financial services, healthcare, and consumer products.

Mr. Zambito's valuation experience includes assignments involving ASC 805 intangible asset valuation and purchase price allocation, ASC 350 goodwill impairment analyses, IRC 409A deferred compensation valuing common stock for privately held companies, pre-acquisition due diligence and tax-related valuations. His experience includes valuations of developed and in-process research and development, customer relationships, trade names and trademarks, noncompetition agreements, loan portfolios, core deposit intangibles, fixed maturity deposits, interest rate swaps, debt instruments, and stock options.

He has reviewed hundreds of third party valuation assignments for financial and tax reporting purposes, as well as provided valuation advisory services for merger and acquisition and investment purposes.

Mr. Zambito has experience presenting valuation topics to external groups on the west coast. He also co-leads a monthly networking breakfast event that he co-founded in January 2010, for the Seattle-area business community.

Prior to joining BDO, Mr. Zambito worked for the valuation practices at KPMG/BearingPoint and Deloitte in Seattle and San Francisco.
