Mr. Perry J. Urken, Vice President of the Ballentine Barbera Group, a CRA International Company, specializes in the economic analysis of intercompany pricing and other taxation issues, including the valuation of intangible assets, IRS audits, cost sharing arrangements, and global tax optimization strategies.

Recently, Mr. Urken directed and managed a major study for a FORTUNE 100 consumer products company that identified the relative shares of profits attributable to trademark ownership and marketing functions based on economic analyses of trademark licensing arrangements between third parties. He has also performed economic analyses of trademarks and other intangible assets owned by firms in the construction, consumer products, pharmaceutical, and computer industries for the purposes of documenting the arm's length nature of intercompany royalty rates.

Prior to joining The Ballentine Barbera Group, Mr. Urken held a Manager position with the Economic Consulting Services practice of KPMG, where he managed a number of transfer pricing and valuation engagements for multinational clients. Previously, he served as a Staff Economist with Economic Consulting Services, Inc., where he performed economic analyses used in transfer pricing studies performed for controversy and documentation purposes.

Mr. Urken holds an M.B.A./M.A. of International Finance and European Studies from George Washington University; and a B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University.
