Christine Baker specializes in private company valuation matters. Hundreds of family business and private equity holders have relied on her and her team to answer the "what is it worth?" question. When requested, Chris and her team prepare a well-documented report that complies with US valuation standards. With a particular emphasis in shareholder disputes and high-net-worth matrimonial issues, she has provided expert testimony in deposition and/or trial in New York, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Connecticut.

Chris earned her bachelors degree with concentrations in accounting, business administration and computer science from Hope College. She has served more than ten years on several AICPA national committees, including the Business Valuation Committee, the ABV Credential Committee, several National Business Valuation Conference planning committees, the joint AAML/AICPA National Conference on Divorce planning committee, the Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee and presently the CFF Credential Committee.

Chris is a frequent lecturer and is regularly invited to address professionals from a variety of national, regional and local organizations regarding advanced business valuation topics. Audiences have included the New York State Society of CPAs, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Michigan Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and the Michigan Association of CPAs among others. She leads professional education sessions and nationally webcast teleconferences for organizations such as Business Valuation Resources and AICPA. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Business Valuation Update (published by Business Valuation Resources), and sits on the Valuation Editorial Board of Trusts & Estates Magazine.
