As managing partner of the firm’s national dealerships practice, Tim works daily to strengthen its ties to dealers and the industry as a whole, overseeing services spanning 2,500+ rooftops. Since 1993, he has focused extensively on the dealership industry with dealership groups of all sizes primarily on assurance and valuation matters.

Tim has served a number of leadership positions for national organizations. He completed a three year term as a member of the Business Valuation Committee for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and was the 2004 chair of the National Business Conference for the AICPA. In 2014, Tim began a term on the AICPA Auto Dealer Committee and chaired the National Auto Dealer Conference in 2015.

Tim has written and spoken extensively about relevant and emerging trends within the dealership industry. His recent contribution to the BVR’s Key Trends Driving Auto Dealership Value special reportincludes a piece on “Lost Profits for Automobile Dealerships” as well as one on “The Current Auto Dealer Acquisition Environment and Its Impact on Blue Sky”.
