Roy is a Partner at MPI and is based in the firm's Princeton office. Since joining MPI in 1981, Roy has determined the value of closely held securities of companies for a variety of purposes, including estate and gift taxes, income taxes, fairness opinions, sale and merger, stock purchase plans, buy-sell agreements, ownership succession, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, corporate and shareholder planning and S corporation conversions. Although Roy has determined values for businesses in a wide range of industries, he has experience in valuing construction-related firms.

The valuation analyses and reports prepared by Roy have been used for presentations to management, directors and stockholders of client companies, as well as to attorneys, accountants and bank trust representatives. He has appeared as an expert in business valuation before the Internal Revenue Service and in U.S. Tax Court. Roy is a member of the Board of Directors of Management Planning, Inc. and MPI Securities, Inc.
