Matt practices in the areas of taxation, forensics, business valuation, and litigation support matters. He has more than 15 years of business, finance and technical experience. Matt prepares valuations of closely-held businesses and employee stock options for the purposes of total shareholder return plans, ASC Topic 718, ASC Topic 805, mergers & acquisitions, litigation, gift & estate planning, and marital dissolution. In litigation support matters, he has addressed financial and economic issues and has contributed to the development of calculations for economic damages related to business impairment, business value and intellectual property infringement. Matt also serves clients in taxation and IRS challenges related principally to reasonable compensation, transfer pricing, employment taxes and personal income tax return audits. He has been designated as an expert witness and has presented deposition and trial testimony in various courts.
