Thomas E. Hilton is co-director of the Valuation and Litigation Services Group at Anders Minkler & Diehl LLP, located in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds the AICPA specialty designation of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers, and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Mr. Hilton has over 32 years of professional experience, including over 15 years of business valuation and expert witness experience. He has been recognized as a qualified expert witness, and has testified in Missouri, Florida, Arkansas, and Illinois. He has instructed and presented on various valuation and litigation topics at AICPA sponsored courses and conferences.
Mr. Hilton is a member of the AICPA BV/FLS Executive Committee, the AICPA Nominations Committee, is immediate past Chair of the AICPA Business Valuation Committee, and past Chair of the Executive Advisory Board of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
He is a contributing author for both the first and second editions of Financial Valuation: Applications & Models, published by John Wiley & Sons. He has presented nationally on valuation and litigation topics of interest to the practicing CPA specializing in valuation and litigation services. He has taught specialized training courses in valuation for both the AICPA and NACVA.
In 2006 and 2005, Mr. Hilton was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Practitioners byCPA Magazine. He was inducted into the AICPA Business Valuation Hall of Fame in 2004. In 2003, Mr. Hilton was named a CPA All-Star in the Business Valuation discipline by CPA Magazine. Mr. Hilton has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri, and a Master of Science in Finance from St. Louis University.
